Hello everyone - just stumbled upon this website; looks like they have some useful info on this website - does anyone sign up for this premium package? Looks like could be worth it.
Just wanted to see if there is anything poing on with this Salemi villa regeneration project ; there were some news at first and now it kind of slowed down. Will there be actual photos of villas available before they get assigned? And when? Also, do we get to pick the part of the city where I'd like my villa to be?
Thanks

I read they (the Salemi authorities) will do announcement in 2 months regarding how and when they will be awarding the places, for now they are just accepting applications
does anyone know if all the infrastructure (gas, electricity, water, etc) is existent there, or it shoud have to be rebuilt? also, how much do the houses run in that area? My wife and I woulnd't mind moving there if we could get and fix up a place |

From the newsweek video it doesn't look like they have any infrastructue left - but wouldn't you think that the city has to put in the new communication lines? Also, I think that since they say it would take about 100,000-200,000 euros to rebuild the villas, that must be the prices the houses run there for... |

I agree. The city should repair/reinstall the communication lines as a part of their rejuvenation project - just wonder about their time frame for that Myself, I am sure I can restore a villa in 2 months provided I get all the materials |
